Mas Hafizul DID IT!!

At last, the sea game selection has come to an end. IM Mas Hafizul proved he is still Malaysia no.1 player by winning the tournament with 1 point ahead of his closest rival, IM Jimmy Liew.
IM Mas Hafizul game ended in a draw against IM Mok Tze Meng (a.k.a Mokdern pro)! While, IM Lim Yee Weng settled an early draw with IM Jimmy to book themselves a spot in the national squad.

After a crucial battle by two outstanding juniors, recently crowned NM Lim Zhuo Ren shattered Sumant's hope of qualifying in the national squad temporary. Sumant will have to play against Wahiduddin Kamalarifin again to earn the 4th spot. Fong Yit Ho disappointing performance continue as he failed to beat Wahiduddin Kamalarifin. Tan Jun Feng managed to held a draw against the mighty Yit San who beaten IM Mok in round 4.
