FIDE Candidate match R1.4

After all the extreme fighting chess in the quarter final, Gelfand Boris and Gata Kamsky managed to qualify themselves in the semifinal. Gelfand was in a much better position but agreed to a draw to ensure his match victory 2.5-1.5 against Mamedyarov. As for Topalov, he kept the pressure on Kamsky, looking to exploit the American's time trouble. Kamsky had only 7 seconds left before the time control. Unfortunately, Topalov couldn't maximize the advantage and ended the game with a draw.
Radjabov held Kramnik to a draw after 28 moves. Tie-breaks will be needed tomorrow to decide the winner of this quarter-final. However not much excitement came from Grischuk and Aronian. Their game ended only 17 moves.
